As an analyst, Mairead supports Cadeo’s market and efficient technologies research. She leads data collection and analysis tasks that span multiple markets and end-uses. She brings skills in data management and analysis to Cadeo’s research and evaluation team. Previously, Mairead worked as a Senior Research Staff Assistant at the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN).
Through her time at CIESIN, she gained a range of experiences in geospatial research and applications. Her research focused primarily on populations, climate impacts, and natural hazards. Mairead also led data management efforts during an internship sponsored by NASA SEDAC. There, she collected census data for GIS-based models of the distribution of human populations. Additionally, she has expertise in clean energy and climate policy from her internships with the Rockville Centre municipal electric utility and the Office of State Senator Todd Kaminsky.
Mairead has a B.A. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University. Outside of work, Mairead enjoys running, spending time with her nose in a book, or venturing out into city and forest alike.
