As an analyst, Mairead supports Cadeo’s market and efficient technology research. She leads data collection and analysis tasks that span multiple markets and end-uses. During her time at Cadeo, Mairead has focused on efficient, electrified, or distributed clean technology and market research. She brings skills in academic research, data analysis, and data management to Cadeo’s Research and Evaluation team. Mairead is most driven to help bring about our decarbonized future and finds it eminently rewarding to work alongside Cadeo’s team of dedicated and impactful professionals.
Mairead has a background in geospatial research. Prior to Cadeo, Mairead worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN). At CIESIN, she gained a range of experiences in data collection, cartography, spatial analysis, and leading research practices. At CIESIN, her work primarily focused on population demographics, climate impacts, and natural hazards. Mairead also draws on a diversity of work experiences, including internships on a municipal microgrid effort, at the office of State Senator Todd Kaminsky, and on The Gridded Population of the World v5, a population model sponsored by NASA’s Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC).
Mairead holds a B.A. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University. Outside of work, you can find Mairead reading, running, and exploring all that our singular, beautiful world has to offer.
