Harrison Grubbs

Harrison Grubbs, Cadeo’s Chief Executive Officer, is a recognized leader in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and demand response. He has over 15 years of experience driving innovative solutions for utilities, government agencies, and private clients across the US and Canada. He has centered most of his career on energy program implementation. His past experience includes leading notable programs such as the MassSave Program and the TVA Programs. Under his leadership, these programs have constantly evolved over many years to meet changing market conditions and customer expectations. He is a national leader in driving early adoption smart thermostat programs, Healthy Homes Programs, Virtual Auditing, and most recently as a key stakeholder in Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) program designs. Through his leadership, he has established a reputation of meeting client goals, within their respective budgets, while building strong internal teams and processes.

Harrison comes to Cadeo after nearly 15 years at CLEAResult Consulting and Conservation Services Group (CSG). There, he held numerous roles, leading teams in all parts of the country. He has grown to be a recognized voice in the industry, regularly speaking at conferences and providing specific solutions to his clients’ challenges. Harrison also worked for KSV, providing strategic consulting to utility and sustainability clients. During this time, he focused on effective customer journeys and experience-based engagement with energy providers. The combination of these experiences has allowed him to view the industry holistically, conscious of all stakeholders and their perspectives. 

Harrison earned his BA from The University of the South, Sewanee, and his MS from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture. He has been an active participant in many trade organizations, including Building Performance Association (BPA), Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), and American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE). He has served on committees for each of these respected industry organizations. Additionally, Harrison has held numerous certifications, including LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist. Most of Harrison’s free time is spent with his wife on the sidelines of middle and high school sporting events, watching his children play soccer, volleyball, basketball, and tennis. Otherwise, you will find Harrison exploring the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont by hiking, skiing, or riding his motorcycle.
