Kate Donaldson is an associate director at Cadeo, where she brings six years of experience in analysis and energy technology. Kate leads research projects that involve both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Her background in energy policy informs her evaluation approach and allows her to add context to her client’s efforts. Kate’s extensive experience researching the nonresidential lighting market focuses on emerging products and forecasting market trends to inform savings estimates. She regularly manages process evaluation and market research projects that require survey and interview data collection and improve program operations.
Prior to joining Cadeo, Kate worked in government affairs for Daikin U.S. Corporation. There, she supported the company’s North American manufacturing efforts by tracking compliance with federal and state standards on energy efficiency and refrigerant use. Kate holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Commerce from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce.
