Kate Donaldson is a Senior Associate at Cadeo. She brings five years of experience in analysis and energy technology to her role at Cadeo and leads research projects that involve both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Her background in energy policy informs her evaluation approach and allows her to add context to her client’s efforts. She has extensive experience researching the nonresidential lighting market, with a focus on emerging products and forecasted market trends to inform savings estimates. She regularly manages process evaluation and market research projects that require survey and interview data collection and are expected to improve program operations.
Prior to joining Cadeo, Kate worked in government affairs for Daikin U.S. Corporation supporting the company’s North American manufacturing efforts by tracking compliance with federal and state standards on energy efficiency and refrigerant use. Kate holds a B.A in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Commerce from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce.
