Bretnie Eschenbach

Bretnie Eschenbach brings two decades of energy efficiency and building systems work experience to her role as director at Cadeo. She is a valued part of the company’s engineering leadership, where her experience in residential and commercial building performance, integrated systems—including HVAC, lighting, water heating, refrigeration, and controls—inform a range of research and market development projects. At Cadeo, Bretnie takes part in a variety of emerging technology research. Her experience includes engaging manufacturers, quantifying HVAC market trends, developing programs, and investigating heat pump efficiency characteristics. She is also a force of organization. Bretnie excels at keeping projects on track and ensuring Cadeo meets client expectations for quality and timeliness.

Bretnie came to Cadeo from Seattle City Light where she worked with commercial customers as a Senior Energy Management Analyst. Before that, she managed energy for the National Park Service’s west coast facilities. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Southwestern University and is a Certified Energy Manager.
