In her role as associate, Jess Siegel brings to Cadeo a diverse skillset in stakeholder engagement, project management, and data analytics. At Cadeo, Jess has worked on a variety of program evaluation and market research projects, ranging in topics from residential heat pump water heaters to commercial and industrial demand response. Jess specializes in work that supports power grid decarbonization through the deployment the distributed energy resources. Jess takes pride in her ability to provide clients with valuable insight through thoughtful data analysis and visualization.
Prior to joining Cadeo, Jess worked in the environmental non-profit sector. At the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, for example, Jess worked with Roanoke Electric Cooperative to develop innovative financing mechanisms for their community solar and storage program. She also served as a Community Outreach Lead for the WaterLink Program at Ecology Acton. There, she worked to provide water and energy efficiency upgrades to underserved communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jess received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Davis. She also holds a Master of Environmental Management with a concentration on Energy from Duke University. In her free time, Jess is likely outside, tending to her vegetable garden, backpacking, skiing, or exploring Portland by bike.
