As an energy analyst at Cadeo, Okam supports a variety of DER projects. His work includes conducting feasibility studies on emergent technologies, evaluating utility efficiency programs, executing predictive analysis for effective DER planning, and developing DER implementation strategies. Before working for Cadeo, Okam worked as an energy analyst for the University of Maryland. He undertook multiple state facility energy efficiency projects, conducting site assessments on various electrification transition strategies for the state of Maryland and advising state-building managers on the implementation of energy efficiency measures and utility rebate programs. Okam holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of work, he spends his free time either watching or playing soccer.
