Nolan Kelly offers over five years of experience in energy efficiency, greenhouse gas inventory analysis, building retrofit analysis, and benchmarking. Prior to joining Cadeo, Nolan worked for ICF in Washington, DC as an Analyst. There, he worked with federal, utility, and state & local clients on energy efficiency projects and programs. He was a key member of the Better Plants and Better Buildings Data Team where he designed tools used for energy use analysis across building portfolios. Previously, Nolan worked for the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center (NNMREC) based in Corvallis, Oregon. There, he worked in federal relations and funding management for the USA’s first grid-connected marine renewable energy test center, now located off the Southern Oregon coast. Additionally, Nolan worked closely with state and local governments in Denver, CO; Cambridge, MA; and Philadelphia, PA to support benchmarking disclosure ordinances and other sustainability initiatives at the city level.
Nolan holds a B.S. in Economics from Oregon State University as well as an M.P.P. from the University of California at San Diego. In his free time, he enjoys cross country skiing and getting hopelessly lost in the woods.
