Jonah brings a range of analytical and engineering skills to his role as senior associate. In his five years at Cadeo, he has honed his project management and market research experience. He has led project teams and tested novel market research approaches that address persistent data gaps. This, combined with his engineering background, results in well-documented, scalable research protocols that can be replicated to inform ongoing market tracking. Jonah’s experience ranges from systematic compilation of publicly available HVAC permit data, to mystery shopping, to the investigation of market effects from residential water heater standards. Jonah has also completed multiple impact evaluation studies for utility energy efficiency programs across the Northeast US. He is a natural collaborator and data-driven thinker who balances his passion for engineering analysis with a love for building strong relationships with coworkers and clients.
Prior to joining Cadeo, he developed power take-off systems for offshore ocean wave energy converters at KRISO Ocean Engineering. He also served as a lead technical researcher with MIT’s Sport Technology Group. There, he partnered with the P.G.A to analyze golf teaching tools. Jonah received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also an active member of the D.C beekeepers alliance and a guest lecturer in the University of D.C’s beekeeping 101 course.
