Heather Williams

Heather Williams brings to Cadeo over twenty years of experience working in the energy industry. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with over 100 utilities. Her work has primarily focused on Smart Grid technologies, consumer engagement, energy efficiency, behavioral science, and distributed energy resources (DERs). She has also held positions in strategic planning, product management, sales, project management, operations, and information technology.

Heather excels at helping multidisciplinary teams transform ideas into meaningful solutions that solve challenging problems. Her most recent work has focused on supporting the adoption of DERs, with a focus on vehicle electrification. Prior to joining Cadeo, she led efforts at Bidgely to support strategic innovation, oversaw market research, updated EV program designs, and oversaw the delivery of an expansion of Duke’s Park & Plug program. In addition, she’s been involved in the design, approval, and delivery of numerous behavioral energy efficiency, behavioral demand response, and consumer engagement programs throughout the U.S. and Canada while working at Opower Oracle Utilities and Aclara. Heather started working in energy consulting while at Quantec. There, she supported a variety of market research, evaluation, and custom software projects.

She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho. Outside of work, you can find her teaching kids aerial yoga and mindfulness classes, wrangling her own “tweenagers”, and playing in the Columbia River Gorge, where she currently calls home.
