Doug Bruchs

Doug Bruchs is a principal at Cadeo. He specializes in helping utilities and regional energy organizations determine the impacts of their current programs while also planning for the future. One of Doug’s greatest strengths is the breadth of his experience. Since he started working in energy in 2002, Doug has taken on just about every role the industry has to offer: field technician, lead analyst, project manager, research designer, principal investigator, long-term strategist and more. Through these diverse experiences, Doug has learned how to support clients in their overarching goal to offer, and continually improve, high-quality programs and promote decarbonization. Doug excels in stakeholder engagement and enjoys presenting complex topics in a concise and easy-to-understand way. Prior to joining Cadeo in 2014, Doug was a senior associate with the Cadmus Group.

Doug holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at San Diego and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. He loves hiking and camping with his two adventurous children, getting his hands dirty in the backyard, and trying not to injure himself while making the transition from road riding to mountain biking.
